2. Our mobile multimedia-guide xpedeo

The PDA-based multimedia-guide displays multiple information directly "on site" - using all forms of media: text, image, spoken word, sound, video and animation. The PDA allows visitors to stroll through the exhibition and take part in guided tours. Research can be done in advance via the Internet on a home PC and an individual tour can be created- which is particularly interesting for school classes. After visiting the museum, the new discoveries can be taken home as an individual CD-ROM or a personal catalogue.
